Sometimes, scattered deep in the wastelands of Southern California, I’ll stumble upon a random descanso in the middle of nowhere, far off the beaten paths, hidden in some nondescript corner of a back country fire road, or aside a creek bed in the deep mountains, or amidst the desolation of emptied barrens, or behind a trash dumpster in a dark alley of the Gaslamp District in San Diego.
Wow! I have never been to Disneyland but if I get there, I’ll be on the lookout for memorials to the dead.
I’m from Australia. Been to the US mainland 5 times (Hawaii once) but all but one trip was pre-kids and the other was for work, not play.
Aha. Well it’s def worth a visit once in life. Much more grounded than the Florida joint.
Thanks for the tip. I’m much more inclined to visit California anyway.
As you should be. There's a reason it's everyone's vacation destination. :)
‘Tis a rare soul that has never been to the mouse house in Anaheim. Why not? :)
